How long does it take?
The in-store process of choosing your fragrance and pouring your candle takes anywhere from 30-60 minutes depending upon how decisive you are with scent. From there any candle you choose does need time to fully set up. Candles take 2-4 hours to set depend upon the size and the container. During this time we suggest that you enjoy the rest of what Lee's Summit has to offer.
How Much Does is Cost?
Our prices are based on what you choose to make rather than per person. We typically have options ranging in price from $16-$60 but the majority of our candles are in the $24-$40 range. This allows each person to choose the option that best fits their style and budget. We don’t post these options online because they change based on season and availability.
Can I bring in my own jar
Unfortunately we are not able to pour into outside jars at this time.
When can I come in to pour a candle?
We are open Tuesday - Wednesday from 11-6 Thursday - Saturday from 11-7 & Sunday 12-5. We pour right up until 15 minutes prior to closing time but if you would like to pick your candle up the same day, we suggest that you come at least 2 hours before we close. But if you can't, we will hold onto your candle for a month.
Do I need to make a reservation?
Walk ins are accepted based on availability but we suggest you make a reservation when possible, especially for large groups and weekends so we have enough room to accommodate your party.
How big of a Group can you hold?
We are able to accommodate parties up to 24 at one time, in store. If you have a larger party, contact us and we will work with your group to find the solution. This may involve staggering the group and working with a separate venue to give everyone the very best experience possible. We will take the time to plan everything out with your group so that it goes smoothly on the day of your event.
Can I Bring in Food and Drink for my Party?
Because we have a smaller shop without a dedicated party space, we do not allow groups to bring in food and drink during our regular hours. While we are excited to celebrate with you, we also have other customers visiting after your group that are wanting to make candles as well. We are happy to make a recommendation of our favorite bars and restaurants in Lee’s Summit if you’re looking for somewhere to continue the fun within walking distance from our shop!
